My name is Stacia, and I live in Indiana. I am a mom to 3 sweet kids and am married to a pretty awesome guy who puts up with all my quirky ways. I love Jesus and seek to glorify The Lord in my business and everything I do.

I was first introduced to Colloidal Silver (shortened form CS) when I was a kid. My mom used to buy it from the health food store for my acne prone skin. She was always really strict about me putting it on my face but not drinking it because it might turn my skin blue! See my FAQ's if this is also a fear you have.

Fast forward a couple of decades, and I found myself with 3 kids thinking that there had to be a better way to deal with all the sickness that we were constantly battling in our home. Mainstream medical advice just wasn't cutting it, and I started to delve into the world of herbal medicine. What a rabbit hole to fall into! 

Herbal medicine gave me a confidence I was lacking before when it came to treating my family for various ailments. I started to learn, appreciate, and understand that God gave us so many amazing, natural things on this planet for our good! I also learned how to treat things at home that I previously felt I had to go to a doctor for. Allopathic (or main stream, western medicine) has it's place, but it shouldn't always be the 1st place we turn to when we are sick. Don't misunderstand me. If I break an arm or need surgery, I will absolutely be seeking the advice of a medical doctor. However, when my kids "catch a cold" or my allergies are acting up, I have learned there are safer, gentler, more effective ways than over-the-counter meds or running to the doctor for them to just tell me to keep an eye on it over the next few days. The amount of times I have paid over $100 just to be told to "keep an eye on it" is astounding.

However, I found there were still things I needed to go to the doctor for that made me wonder if there was anything else I could be adding to my arsenal that would give me the confidence to limit our doctor visits to just annual exams. I couldn't possibly treat infections like eyes, ears, throat, and lung infections at home, right?

It started when my littlest ended up with a double ear infection because of too much mucus from a cold (or covid?). The doctor prescribed antibiotics. I turned to my herbal groups and asked how best to support my littlest's gut microbiome after a round of antibiotics. A few people strongly recommended I try CS instead of the antibiotics. I sent a message to my doctor asking about trying that instead, and with her blessing, I purchased CS off of Amazon ($30+ dollars for an 8 oz bottle). She was better within 2 days. I continued for a total of 5 days and decided to start digging into all the things CS could do. Another rabbit hole to explore! I started using it very sparingly (it was expensive after all) but treated another ear infection, eye infection, and even began nebulizing CS when we all came down with a respiratory infection. This was amazing to me! I had finally found "the thing" that, paired with herbal remedies, made me confident enough to try things at home before running to the doctor. That last doctor visit was the last sick visit we have had in the last 2 years.

The path to purchasing my own CS brewer started when my 14 year old dog went in for his annual vet visit. They said he needed his teeth cleaned, but they also stated he was now too old to be put under sedation without concerns. What was I going to do? His breath smelled horrible, his teeth had just been cleaned less than a year prior but were covered in tartar, and I just felt like that was the end for him. Didn't dogs die of heart failure because of tooth decay? I have learned a lot about what I could have done differently now, but that's a story for another time. I turned to the CS group I had found through my herbal groups for the answer. It was likely going to require a lot more CS than I had on hand or could easily pay for. I started looking around for someone who would sell it for way cheaper than I was finding in stores or online. However, that proved to be difficult. I figured a gallon would give me the best information on whether CS could help my dog. Everyone I reached out to said they couldn't sell me a gallon for as cheap as I was hoping. I was so frustrated that something that could do so much good would cost me so much when it didn't have to. I then spent the next 3 months saving up for a CS brewer. 

In July of 2024, I was finally able to purchase a brewer from The Natural Health Library. I played around with it and started to make clear CS in August. I started giving it to my dog right away (and our cat who had been throwing up because, why not?). A month later, my dog's breath didn't smell, and the cat had stopped throwing up. I decided I wanted to start selling it at the prices I had been looking for because surely there were other people out there who could benefit from CS without paying hundreds of dollars for a gallon. That's when Moon Mama Silver Brew was born. It has become a family business and even my kids help me brew the CS we use everyday.

Since then, we have sold it locally and shipped it as far as Colorado. Moon Mama Silver Brew isn't just a way for us to support our family, it's also a way for us to minister to others. We are learning more and more all of the time what CS can do and are thankful for the many people, resources, and knowledge we have gained along the way.
